What can be done before you travel

Initial consultation, review of existing records, and most investigation planning are done by video. Blood tests and scans can often be done in your home country and sent for review. A treatment plan is agreed before any travel is booked.

What must happen in India, and for how long

For IVF: stimulation monitoring, egg collection and embryo transfer. Realistically this means being in Panchkula from the start of stimulation to transfer — around three weeks for a fresh transfer, or around two weeks with return later for a frozen transfer.

For a frozen embryo transfer only: around one week.

For IUI: around one week around ovulation.

For a second opinion: no travel required.

Practical notes

Panchkula adjoins Chandigarh, with an international airport and direct connections to Delhi. Accommodation and local transport can be arranged through the international patient office at Paras Health.

Records from abroad are reviewed as-is; there is no need to repeat tests done recently to a good standard.
